The Mirror
(To My Best-Friend And Wife Crystal)
I stop to think and wonder whom it is that I see.
I look into the mirror at that person looking back at me.
His eyes look like mine.
His face is mine as well.
His soul I see is burdened and his spirits they have fell.
He thought love had led him astray.
His heart it did fray.
Then a wonderful lady came into his life and kissed his tears away.
The mirror reflects everything, except what his heart does say.
Only his wife knows what his heart would truly say.
I stop to think and wonder whom it is that I see.
I look into the mirror at that man looking back at me.
His eyes look like mine.
His face is mine as well.
It seem as if his spirits have never fell.
His love was renewed and saved from the depths of hell.
No longer a burdened soul, no longer a blind mans way.
I have fooled the image from that mirror facing my way.
Now love has come and swept my heart away.
